Printworks in Manchester

The Printworks entertainment complicated and the encompassing area is among the most well liked night spots in Manchester town centre. Labelled ‘The Millennium Quarter ‘, following its reconstruct after the 1996 IRA bomb wiped out plenty of the original buildings, it’s now an area full of bars, bars, restaurants and designer stores.

The primary attraction is The Printworks itself, a converted paper printers packed with huge bars, giant night clubs, chain eateries, a comedy club and a big IMAX theatre.

With over 150,000 revellers visiting the Printworks every week, it is one of the most colourful areas in Manchester. For those searching for something different from the chain bars in The Printworks, the nearby boozers in the Old Mess, going back to the 14th Century, provide a refreshing alternative. With the MEN Arena, Urbis and Royal Exchange Theatre just across the road, there’s no finer place to meet up on concert nights for a drink.
